The Aguas Marinas y Continentales (AMIC) research group at IRTA de la Ràpita had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Begoña Ben Girgirey’s visit between January 13 and February 12, 2025.
During her stay, Dr. Ben Girgirey shared her extensive experience and knowledge with the AMIC group, offering new perspectives and enriching the group’s work. Her research focused on the analysis of marine toxins using liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), under the supervision of Dr. Maria Rambla Alegre.
This collaboration has been a highly rewarding experience for both Dr. Ben Girgirey and the AMIC team, and it is expected that this knowledge exchange will significantly contribute to the project’s development. We trust that this relationship will continue to grow, supporting the continuity of joint work and mutual enrichment in the future.
